DIY : Float switch controller.
Use these to control 12 V water pumps for filling up water containers. Like aquarium, water filter, in house emergency water storage tanks or your water fountains.
Costs about 100/= on Daraz. Your water filter probably has one of these. If it gets out of order, you can buy one and replace it. Symptom of it been broken is that the pump doesn't stop even when the tank gets filled up.
The catch about this device is that you need to stick a rubber band on the top or bottom part of it so that the ball doesn't move too top or bottom part depending on whether you are using it as Normally ON or Normally OFF device aka NO/NC. When the ball is at the center -- it's off. Turns on when it slides top or bottom due to water level change.
I change the one in my water filter regularly, whenever it breaks down.

What's NO and NC in switching devices?
Suppose you purchase an electronic switch, which turns on when you apply 12 volts to its designated pins. And turns off when you remove the voltage.
If that's the case it will be called Normally Open device, "NO". Stays "off" in normal circumstances. Without a voltage.
The other type of device is called Normally Closed. NC. Stays on normally. And turns off when you apply voltage.
There's use for both. And both are used in equal frequency in switching.
Summary :
NO : normally off. Mnemonic NO = NO current.
NC : normally on. Mnemonic NC = Normal Current.

On identifying someone as "Salafi" :
I never call any group in any derogatory term. Almost never. Rather I check what they would like to identify themselves as. And then call them that. The name they like being called with.
That's how the term "Salafi" appeared in my posts. They liked to be identified as such. The 90s, even in 00s.
Until now, that is. When surprisingly they now find it derogatory. That's what I am seeing both on the net and in real life. And some people really do get offended when I identify them as such. And suddenly I am caught off guard not noticing when that changed.
Flash back -- Matiur Rahman Madani's lecture on why it's good that we should be identified as "Salafi". And I heard the same argument from scholars in Medina in 00s.
Time changes. Apparently it's now rebrand time.
Reading this on twitter :
"Every set of ideas has imploded and had to reform and rebrand itself. But you've never seen the Shafiis for example go through this. For a millenium nobody's ever been embarassed to be called Hanafi, Malikis, Shafii...
They never had to rebrand. They've lasted the test of time."

On scholars distancing themselves from UAE :
Noticed that Western scholars hate UAE with a passion. That might or might not be justified, no idea.
A scholar can be affiliated with Saudi, Egypt, UK, India or any country what so ever. But if he is proven to have any affiliation with UAE, he is condemned to the point of being thrown out of the circle until he declares his non-affiliation.
Now from my point of view I don't see much of a difference. But that might have to do with me never visiting UAE to watch what's wrong there.
But take note. The future might reflect these in events if there's a valid reason for them to be so disgusted.

On future road of Deubondi schools in BD :
Here's my take on the current situation and a forecast on the possible paths that it might lead to.
Now note that winning or losing is related to whether a team was right or wrong -- that's my simplified take.
Sins of Dewbondis :
- First and foremost the abusive culture in Madrasas and them tolerating and promoting those abuses for decades. And pro-actively hiding the ugly "sin", which I can't name, and they hide it to protect their goodwill.
- Their leaders are actively seeker of leadership, leading to collision for leadership, which is strongly forbidden in Islam and God dislikes.
- The events that lead to the fall of last leader and rise of the current leaders two months back. Nothing has happened till now, but the events remain as a time bomb, a black spot waiting to explode when its time.
And now the positives :
Right now they have lost the battle. And situation has shifted back to year 13's. All gains made by Mufti Shofi being lost in a week.
Now :
- This might stay as such.
Which path might it take -- I have no idea. But whether it turns towards good or for bad will be indicative of a lot of things in the past. A past where we are still confused on which side was right. And indicative also about the future -- the coming days.
Pray alone. And disengage from all activities at the moment. That will be my advice.
But regardless, keep watching.

On struggling with learning Arabic.
You probably are giving too much focus on the grammar -- verb forms in Arabic, and not enough on the communication part. Which is making the learning process boring and not motivating you much and you feel like you can't do it, lagging a lot.
It's not your problem, it's the problem of the method you are being taught Arabic.
If you find you are twisting too much in فعل يفعل تفعل then drop that course. Find the one that teaches you spoken, reading, writing a lot more than what you are getting in your current course.
Even if you memorize all the verb forms it doesn't mean you can speak or read better than those who haven't memorized it all. Rather practice the spoken, reading, comprehension and vocabulary part a lot, and grammar will come on its way.

Math w/o calculator.
For very fast division/multiplication you need to find log w/o thinking. Aka -- memorize all log values up to two digits.
It's far easier than you think.
There are 90 log values that you need to learn : 10 to 99.
Of these, for the last 30 numbers, 70 to end of list you need to add half the distance to 100 with that number for its log value.
Ex. log 70 = distance to 100 is 30 half of which is 15.
Therefore log 70 is 85.
And for the mid 30 numbers, starting from 30 ending to 60, you blindly add 20 with the number and get done.
Like log 55 = 45+20 = 65.
These two simple rules cover 60 from a list of total 90 to learn.

Log value for 60+ something.
Log 63 = 80 remember this one.
Next for every +3, add +2 for log value
Likewise log 60 = 58, we subtracted 2 against less 3.
And log 69 = 84.
And for 20+ s.
Log 20 = 30 remember this one.
And then for every +1 on 20, add double the amount with 30.
As such, log 25 = 20 + 5*2 = 30.
That covers everything except log 10s.

I still carry a গামছা in my shoulder bag, which I purchased in the early days of the pandemic for this special purpose.
Whenever I face a situation where I HAVE to wear a mask otherwise they won't let me in, I take it out from my bag and twist it around my face. Done. The guards can't object to anything.
And mask rules show that someone was forced to do something and therefore he came up with this impractical rule as a ritual.
As when inside a Bank, you are specifically told through wall notice to take off the mask for CCCam compliance and identification for security.

Creating a Windows installer USB disk from Fedora :
install "Woe-USB". You can't do without it. No other method works.
sudo dnf install Woe-USB -y
Download the Windows 10 ISO for free from MS site. Doesn't matter if you want home or enterprise edition. It's the same installer.
Now write the ISO to the USB disk
sudo woeusb --target-filesystem NTFS --device Win10_20H2_English_x64.iso /dev/sdc
Where sdc is your USB mounted device.
To figure out where you USB device is mounted run lsblk.
Will take about half an hour for the write to finish. The ISO is 6 GB. You will need a 8 GB drive minimum.
And as for license key.
You don't need a License Key. Windows installer will read your license from your laptop's BIOS and activate properly without asking you to enter anything.

Japan sent an asteroid probe some 6 years back, which visited a near earth asteroid that comes 100k km within Earth every 2 years. Diameter of about 1 km.
The probe collected samples from the asteroid and has landed on earth today.

The capsule that landed with samples from an asteroid has been located in Australian desert. And first inspections show it's intact.
Ending a worry some period. Will be flown back to Japan.
Next mission from Japan will be collecting samples from Phobos or Deimos of Mars and then returning to earth with samples.

Running Windows game on Linux using "wine" emulator.
Here's the performance numbers :
Witcher 3 on native Windows runs 40 fps at medium details and 20 fps at ultra. I don't feel any difference between 40 or 20 fps.
But, using wine on Linux that drops to 15 fps medium details, and 8 fps ultra. Gameplay is jerky even in 15 fps.
But that's for a very demanding game. Tried a second rather normal game but with good outdoor natural environment called FireWatch.
Windows native runs FireWatch at 30 to 40 fpts.
And wine on Linux provides apparently better 40 to 60 fps.
Guess need to tune the linux drivers. Need to install Vulkan drivers. Haven't installed those yet.
And then there's the question of processor heat.
Playing on Windows didn't start the fan. On Linux it start to whirl the moment I started.
I doubt it's about Nvidia. Guess processor load has something to do with it.

Here's how my boxing lessons going :
First few days : the full cotton filled punching bag felt like a stone bag. And skin over my fist got broken in two or three days. Was punching only Jabs then. Nothing more. And not more than 3 at a time. Got tierd everytime after delivering only 3 jabs. Forget delivering 6.
Now : skin over fingers regrew. And the new skin doesn't feel as much hurtful as before. Plus don't get tired after delivering 3.
Can deliver about 30 punches at a row shaking the bag.

There's differences in how we tell the time in English, Arabic and Bengali and it's not only the language.
Suppose the time is 3:40
In Bengali people will say "three forty".
In English it will be "20 to 4"
In Arabic it's "four less a third". as in one third an hour till four.

Self driving cars aren't going anywhere. Even though those seemed just-around-the-corner a few years back.
News : Uber is offloading its self driving unit to a different company.
Related : NN, DNN related ML are clearly stuck in their places. Larger machines aren't providing any better results. And talks are about scaling down the size to get better results.
So AI is now dead for a decade, until something new starts when new hardwares start to arrive in the future.
Whatever has been discovered in last decade will continue to find new use cases in everyday matters. That's a big gain.

So I have to design a home to be built at our country side. Now layout design is the easier part. Structural design with shear and moment diagram with calculation showing beam, bar and foundation width is the hardest part.
There are two ways to solve it.
1. Contact a Civil Engineer and pay him to provide a professional. safe and reliable design that won't kill people.
or,
2. Read books and figure out how to do it, and do it yourself.
Which one possibly might I do?

Math w/o Calculator :
Here's a method for calculating all prayer times w/o a calculator and for any city. You need to use the chart bellow for equation of time and sun's altitude. The two values in the chart varies for date but not for place.
And for any city you need to know these two things.
- Base time for sunrise, sunset, subh, esa, noon.
The above two varies for place, but not for date.
Next, calculation method for Dhaka, as an example :
Base sunrise 5:55, sunset 6:02, Multiplier is 1.8.
From these we can figure out Sunrise and sunset for example today Dec-10th.
Equation of time on Dec-10th : -7 mins.
Sun's altitude : -23 degrees.
Sun rise = Base Time + Eq of Time - Alt * Multiplier.
Sun set = Base Time + Eq of Time + Alt * Multiplier.
Thus,
Sun rise today is : 5:55 - 7 mins + 23*1.8 mins = 6:29. Which actually is at 6:30. 1 min diff.
And sun set 6:01 - 7 mins - 23*1.8 mins = 5:13, where actual is 5:12, giving once again 1 min difference.
The chart follows. But you don't need to memorize all these numbers. Altitude value is a sinusoidal wave. And equation of time, though can be calculated, can be approximately memorized from a poem I shared previously. More on these later, inshaAllah.

- Hundai buying Boston Dynamic for $1B. Here goes our favorite robot manufacturer. Also this one speaks what's wrong with US tech. Dumb technologies like SnapChat sells for multi billions, where multiple PhD level of work for so many years sells for sub billion.
- US Gov sues Facebook for monopoly. Trump strikes back. This comes with the news that Biden admin will totally get rid of anti-trust laws. Relieving large tech companies from such law suites in the future.
- CentOS ditching Centos Linux. There goes the free version of RHEL we had been using for so long. And that leaves Fedora the only option if you want to stick with old RPM installers. Good that I had been using Fedora on laptop. From now on we have to use it on servers too.
- YouTube declared it will remove all contents that allege US election wasn't fair. Basically Google joining FB and Twitter.
- The much talked about game Cyberpunk 2077 released. Talks on how to run it on Linux being posted. And the preview I watched doesn't make it different from the thousands of FPS we had been playing for the last two decades. Graphics isn't more realistic either.
- And even though XBox X theoretically has a drop of more speed over PS 5, users reporting it runs games slower than PS 5. Interestingly you can buy any of these consoles for $500 where a new gen Nvidia card costs at least $800 after price reduction. Proving that graphics cards, specially Nvidia is so much over priced.

Therefore to work out prayer times round the year inside your head, you need to work out basically two things.
1. Equation of time.
2. A sinusoidal function where the amplitude is 23.5 and period 365 days. And origin is at March 21st.
The rest are only two additions and a single multiplication to find the time.
Next we shall try to figure out how much accuracy we get on these two values using simpler solutions.
Obviously the simpler the solution, the less accurate the number.

UK was the first to approve Pfizer's vaccine. And administered it first. That was the good news.
Now the bad parts.
- Two nurses went down with severe reaction on the first day of administration. And then vaccine administration was stopped for people that have "severe allergic reaction."
- News that it causes temporary facial paralysis called "Bells Palsy" and four suffered in it during trial in the administered group compared to zero in the placebo control group.

Now the news two days back was that Saudi is about to normalize ties with Qatar by allowing first flyover over its airspace. And that's about to happen in 4 hours.
Then there was no news. Now news, that's not happening. And no one knows what's happening or why.

How to get rid of classic neck choke.
Why push attacker's both hands together and not one hand as people instinctively would have done? That's because pushing on one hand would cause his hand to fold the normal way, which he can resist.
When pushing both the hands together you are basically pushing to fold his hand the wrong way. Which unless he gives up, will break his hand.
If you notice closely that's the common technique in all martial art strikes. Try to fold the opponents hand at his elbow the wrong way. He will fall or give up.

Some lessons from laptop buying.
HD size matters. The previous trend was that speed mattered more. Which is why people were ditching 1TB mechanical hard disks for 128 GB SSD. The Mac way.
But that restricted a lot of what I was able to install and do. And disk was constantly filling up. Install "R"? Can't. No space. A CAD software? Can't either. And thousands such.
The second thing : Having a micro SD slot helps a LOT for backing up. Stick in a 256 GB microSD and take regular automatic backup of your workspace using a scheduler. As over the air ones will clog your bandwidth.

সবাই চায় অফিসের চাকরি। এর পেছনে ঘুরে জিবন শেষ করে ৪০ বছর বয়সে দেখতে পারবেন যে আর কিছু শেখার সময় নেই।
অথবা ২০ বছর বয়স থেকেই একটা টেকনিক্যল স্কিল শিখে জীবনে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হতে পারেন।
"শিখে মার্কেটে ঢুকবো কি করে?"
নিজে শিখে ইউটুবে অন্যান্যদের শিখান। তারা কাজ এনে দেবে।
"আমার সংসারই চলে না, এগুলো শিখার আগে পেট ভরতে হবে তো।"
পেট খালি রেখেই শিখতে হয়।
"আপনার কথা শুনে আমি শিখেছিলাম। এখন দেখি কাজ নেই। আমাকে কাজ দেন।"
আগে নিজের ভালো নিজে বুঝতে হবে। এর পর সেই বুঝের উপর উপদেশ গ্রহন করবেন বা বর্জন। শেষে আপনার জীবনের ভালো মন্দের দায় আপনার উপর যেহেতু।
উপদেশ দাতারা আপনার পাশে বেশি দিন থাকবে না।

প্রথমতঃ এর জন্য যে বিশাল পরিষ্কার অন্তর লাগে সেটা আপনার এখনো নেই।
দ্বিতীয়তঃ চাকরিজীবিরা চাকরির পেছনে সারা দিন যেতটুকু পরিশ্রম করে। ব্যবসায়িরা ব্যবসার পেছনে প্রতিদিন যত ঘন্টা পরিশ্রম করে। ঠিক তত পরিশ্রম আপনি ইবাদতকারি হয়ে ইবাদতের পেছনে দিতে পারবেন না। কিছু দিন পরে bored হয়ে যাবেন।
তৃতীয়তঃ ইবাদত করলেও আল্লাহ তায়ালা কষ্টে ফেলবেন। চাকরিজিবিদের থেকে সেটা কম না। তাই আপনার কষ্ট শেষে কমছে না। সেটার উপর আপনি ধর্য্য ধরে থাকতে পারবেন না।
তাই একটা ব্যলেন্স খুজেন। আপনার সামর্থ মতো।

একজন ঘরের ঘৃহবধুকে ধরেন। সন্তান পালন করে আর মানুষের সাথে গল্প করে সময় কাটায়। কামাই করার মতো তার কি কোনো বিশেষ স্কিল আছে যেগুলোর জন্য অন্যরা তাকে পয়সা দেবে?
দুটো গল্প :
বাইরের দেশে। একজন মা। সন্তান কি করে পালন করতে হয় তার উপর ফেসবুকে-ইউটুবে কিছু লেকচার দেয়। বিখ্যাত হয়ে যায়। এখন সকল প্রথম সন্তানের মায়েরা তার কাছে কনসাল্টেন্সি নেয় "বাচ্চা কাদছে কি করবো?" "ঠান্ডা রাখবো নাকি কাপড় বেশি গরম হয়ে গিয়েছে?" "কি করবো?" "কি করবো?" হাজার প্রশ্ন।
সে ফোনে উপদেশ দেয়। পেইড সার্ভিস। কনফিউজ মায়েরা সেটা কিনে উপদেশ নেয়।
উপরেরটা স্পেশাল কেইস?
আরেকটা বলি : সবাই চায় বাচ্চার একটা আধুনিক নাম রাখতে। আরেক মেয়ে ওয়েব সাইট খুলেছে বাচ্চার নতুন নামের। এবং আপনার বাচ্চার জন্য তার বাছাই করা স্পেশাল নাম নিতে পারেন। সে পার্সোনেলি বাছাই করে দেবে। কিন্তু এটার জন্য টাকা দিতে হবে। এভাবে সে ১০ জন চাকরিজিবির সমান আয় করছে।
প্রসংগ ছিলো : আপনি বলছিলেন আপনার এমন কোনো স্কিল নেই যেটার জন্য মানুষ আপনাকে পে করবে।

পরিশ্রমি হওয়া :
জীবনের সাফল্যের মূল কথা হলো পরিশ্রমি হওয়া। "আল্লাহ তায়ালা যুবকের আলসতাকে অপছন্দ করেন।"
| "কিন্তু আমার চাকরি নেই। কেউ কাজ দিলে পরিশ্রম করতে পারতাম।"
ঠিক। কিন্তু এর জন্য বসে থেকেন না। পরিশ্রম করতে হবে। চাকরি থাকুক বা না থাকুক।
প্রথমে নিজের রুম পরিষ্কার করা আরম্ভ করেন। এতেই দেখবেন অনেক পরিশ্রম। জীবনের অনেক ময়লা জমে আছে যেহেতু।
এর পর পুরো ঘর। রেগুলার পরিষ্কার করে রাখুন।
এর পর রিপেয়ার আরম্ভ করুন। শেখা হবে। সুইচ ভাঙ্গা? ঐ দিকে সেই কাজ লাগবে?
এর পর বিস্তার করুন পাশের প্রতিবেশিদের কাজও করে দিন। একটা কিছুতে আপনি ইতিমধ্যে স্কিলড হয়ে গিয়েছেন, যেটা অন্যদেরও লাগে।
আস্তে আস্তে কাজ বাড়বে, কামাই করতে পারবেন।
এটা ছোট বয়স থেকে আরম্ভ করতে হবে। ৪০ হয়ে গেলে আর সময় নেই।
বেসিক জিনিস হলো পরিশ্রমি থাকা। চাকরি কাজ না থাকলে কাজ বের করে নেয়া। ক্লান্ত না হলে কখনো অলস বসে না থাকা।

মানুষের প্রতি ভালোবাসা। জীবনে উন্নতি করতে চাইলে এটা একটা বড় গুন।
এর সবচেয়ে কম স্তর হলো অন্ততঃ অন্যের প্রতি হিংসা না রাখা।
বড় লোকদের প্রতি হিংসা রাখবেন না, আল্লাহ তায়ালা আপনাকে ধনি করে দেবেন।
উচ্চ পদস্থদের প্রতি হিংসা রাখবেন না, আল্লাহ তায়ালা আপনাকে পদ দেবেন।
ব্যবসায় যে প্রতি দিন ১০ লক্ষ টাকা কামাই করে তার এত কামাই দেখে হিংসা রাখবেন না। আল্লাহ তায়ালা আপনাকেও যথেষ্ট কামাই দেবেন।
যে আপনার থেকে বেশি ইবাদত করে তাকে তার ইবাদত নিয়ে হেয় করবেন না, ইনশাল্লাহ আল্লাহ তায়ালা আপনাকেও অনেক ইবাদত করার তৌফিক দেবেন।

এটা আনকমন না। ইয়ং বয়সে সবাই এর মাঝে দিয়ে যায়। দেখবেন সোনার চামচ মুখে নিয়ে যে সন্তানরা জন্মায় তারা জীবনে কিছু করতে পারে না। ড্রাগ, পার্টি আর ক্রাইমে শেষ হয়ে যায়।
জীবনে যত জন প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে সবাই আপনার মতো অবস্থায় থেকে এরকম কষ্ট থেকে উঠে এসেছে।
তাই সময় বদলাবে ইনশাল্লাহ। এই দুঃখের সময় আপনি কতটুকু অন্তরে সন্তুষ্টি, মুখে হাসি আর কথায় প্রসংশা নিয়ে থাকতে পারেন, আর বিফল হলেও বা দাম না পেলেও এর পরও পরিশ্রম করে যেতে পারেন সেটার দিকে খেয়াল রাখেন।

#howto Send SMS from your Linux machine console command.
Why? That way you can automatically send mass SMS or create an interactive billing server where people SMS you "bill" and you SMS back -- "Your due bill is xx,xxx/=." or "Your payment of x,xxx/= has been received. Current balance xx,xxx/=". Or maybe create an SMS service like how the cell phone operators manages.

Wrong way : install some crapware from some little known company from app store which will fill your phone with ads and what not.
The right way.
1. Install f-droid.
search net to figure out how.
2. Install "termux" from f-droid.
Now termux is also available from Google's play store but Google forced it to remove it's SMS and GPS services threatening otherwise the whole app will be removed from play store. So don't bother with the play store version, if you indeed want the full automation.
Termux is a full fledged linux server giving you ssh access over net from outside. Has bash shell and a deb package manager.
3. Install termux-api from f-droid
This is a second package which bridges between the termux and the phone-api. You need to set permissions for this app in your phone.
4. Go to App Permissions on your phone and permit termux-api SMS, Phone and GPS access.
5. From Termux shell install package "apt install termux-api" again.
You need both. The shell version and the f-droid installation.
6. Now send SMS running
termux-sms-send -n 019xxxxxx 'Test SMS'
Your SMS will be delivered to the recipient and also appear inside your "Sent SMS" box.
7. To send from your laptop/rasbperry pi/server
- Run command "passwd" and change password from the Termux terminal to something you remember.
And then run from your server's shell
$ ssh cellphone ''termux-sms-send -n 019xxxxxx 'Test SMS'"
And your message will be delivered.
Just tried it now and it works.
Also note that Termux has php python apache and bunch of every other programs to install and ease your life on the cell phone side.

The80s.
There were movie theaters [locally called "cinema hall"] almost at every important point in Dhaka. We used to identify the area with the hall's name.
Gulstan hall, Rajmani hall, Jonaki hall. All those have now been demolished as soon as cable TV took over.
Still anytime I cross a junction, I identify the area as "that" hall, a hall which no longer exist, other than in my memory and memory of people who happened to live in this city for so long.

Purchased a 64 GB SD for 800/= from MultiPlan center. And then checked Daraz for a second one. Minimal price in Daraz is 420/=, almost half of what I purchased at.
Now Daraz seller's SD cards might be bootlegged and not genuine, but then again who guarantees that the one I already purchased isn't a bootleg either.
Conclusion : It's not worth buying from anywhere but online now a days. That hadn't been the case say even 4 years back.

A sign of amateurish design is too much JavaScript. Too much image. Too much "looks cool" while usability suffers, while the designer and developer refuse to acknowledge it.

Foldable house. Plan to build one here in our garage in Dhaka and then transport it to our home residence hiring a truck. It might not last long, but cheaper and DIY fun.
But that's still a plan which never might get executed. There's priorities in life.
But here's a business idea. If someone can design and build one such with delivery on site promise, he can make a living.
Everyone in this pandamic is rushing to the village and not everyone in city has a livable home there.

Life pro tip : "কেন?" এর উত্তর দেবেন না :
মনে করেন কেউ আপনার কাছে কিছু চাইতে আসছে। কোনো অনুরোধ। বা দান চায়। বা হয়তো কিছু বিক্রি করবে আপনার কাছে। বা কিছু একটাতে জয়েন করতে বলছে।
আপনি প্রথম কিছু বর্ননা শুনে বুঝলেন "না" আপনি রাজি না। এখন না বলে দিয়ে "কেন না" সেটা কখনো ব্যখ্যা করবেন না। প্রফেশনলারদের কাছে সবগুলো "না" এর একটা উত্তর আছে যেহেতু তারা সারাদিন এই কাজ করে। উপরন্তু কেউ "না" বলার পরে কি করে "হ্যা" করতে হয় তার উপর তাদের ট্রেইনিং দেয়া হয়।

প্রোগ্রামিং শিখলে :
- খুব কম পারে।
যারা পারে না তারা ট্রেনিং নিলেও পারে না। তাই আপনি পারলে ময়দানে কম্পিটিশন কম পাবেন। সবাই পারে না বলতে এত কম পারে যে সিএসই পাশ করে অনেকে বেসিক প্রোগ্রাম লিখতে পারে না। এদের সংখ্যা একটা গড়পড়তা ভার্সিটি থেকে প্রতি বছর যতজন পাশ করে তার ৮০%। এরা আপনার কম্পিটিটর না।
- কিন্তু শেখার ইচ্ছা আছে সবার।
তাই বহু লোক শিখতে চায়। এত মানুষ শিখছে দেখে ঘাবড়াবার কিছু নেই। এদের খুব কমই পারবে এবং আপনার কম্পিটিটর হবে। এবং প্রোগ্রামারের চাহিদা, এর যোগ্য লোকের থেকে বেশি, সব সময়।
- কোডিং পারবেন না বুঝলেন। কিন্তু যদি ইংরেজি পারেন।

Ran some benchmark.
SSD write speed : 160 to 190 MB/sec
HDD write speed : 80 to 110 MB/sec.
That's the range of values I found running the benchmarks multiple times on both the disks.
Therefore SSDs are at best twice the speed of HDDs. And that's it.
Compare that with write speed of 50 MB/sec for a very cheap disk.

Previously :
Ordered a 256 GB microSD card for 600 taka with shipping charge from China through Daraz.
Received it today. Comes with a USB-MicroSD adapter to turn it into a 256 GB pen drive and a Standard SD converter card to fit it into most laptop's SD card slot. Plus a plastic box to store the card safely.
First tried it on the laptop using the standard SD adapter. Not surprisingly a little part of the card extends outside the slot area which restricts the laptop from being supported on that side while lying down. This one was my first concern.
Tried next on the cell phone. Formatted. Shows 256GB. Copied about 7 GB files, works. Didn't copy 200GB+ files to check if all of it gets preserved, as that test will demand much of my time.
But looks pretty good buy compared to 3500/= for similar offerings locally for a 256 GB microSD without these accessories. The 64 GB mSD card I purchased the other day was priced at 800/=. Costlier than this one.
Took about 2 weeks to reach my hand.

প্রথমে ছিলো "আকিদা" এত জরুরি যে এটা না হলে কেউ মুসলিমই না অথচ হানাফি দেওবন্দিদের মাঝে এর চর্চা নেই। গুরুত্ব নেই। আলোচনা নেই। মানুষকে জানানো বুঝানোর চেষ্টা নেই। বই নেই।
উল্টো তাদর subtle শিক্ষা ছিলো "আকিদা নিয়ে কথা বলবে না" "যত কম বলবে এটা নিয়ে তত ভালো"। এটা ৮০ আর ৯০ দশকের কথা।
অপেক্ষায় ছিলাম সালাফি ধারার আকিদা শিক্ষা হানাফিতে শেষে ঢুকে কিনা দেখতে। দেখলাম এই হানাফিরাও আকিদা নিয়ে পড়লো। পড়লো। বক্তব্য, "নারে ভাই আকিদাই সবচেয়ে জরুরি। আমাদের বড়রা এটার গুরুত্ব বুঝতেন কিন্তু আলোচনা করে যেতে পারেন নি -- আমরা সেই void পূর্ন করছি।"

তাই : "কেউ ওজু ভঙ্গের কারন জানে ঈমান ভঙ্গের কারন জানে না?" আম পাবলিক হিসাবে আমি ধরে নেই সে ঠিক পথে আছে। ইমোশোনাল উক্তি আমাকে অত ইমোশোনাল করে না।
প্রশ্ন হলো দ্বিন তার গোড়ায় ফিরে আসে। এর পরও কথা এখানে anchoring bias বলে একটা জিনিস আছে। আমি প্রথমে কিছু শিখেছি তাই সেটাকেই কি গোড়া ধরছি?

কিন্তু ৮০ দিকে দেওবন্দিরা এই দেশে ডমিনেন্ট ছিলো না। ছিলো বেরলভিরা। দেওবন্দিরা ছিলো মাইনরিটি। আমার অপশন ছিলো বেরলভি হতে পারতাম বা দেওবন্দি। মূলধারা বা মাইনরিটি। মাইনরিটিটি পছন্দ করেছিলাম কারন এটাই মনে হতো সঠিক। ৪০ বছর পরে এটাই এখন মূলধারা। দেখলে মনে হয় আমি মেজরিটির সাথে থাকতে পছন্দ করি তাই এই দিকের ডিফল্ট শিক্ষায় সবসময়। বাস্তবতা উল্টো।
তাই এখানে anchoring bias আছে বলে মনে হয় না। একটা চয়েস আমাদের করতে হয়েছে ছোট বেলায় দুটো অপশনের মাঝে।

হাসান বসরির সময় মানুষ কর্ম থেকে বিরত হয়ে প্রচুর ইবাদতে লাগা আরম্ভ করেছিলো। যাকে আমরা বলি সুফি ধারা।
উনি একদিন নিকটের সবাইকে বললেন : তোমরা কি মনে করো আবু বকর রাঃ তোমাদের থেকে বেশি নামাজ পড়তো? বেশি জাকাত দিতো? বেশি রোজা রাখতো? যেটা উনাকে অনেক উপরে নিয়ে গিয়েছে সেটা ছিলো উনার অন্তরে।

When buying laptops, buy a used old one at down to earth price instead of a new one, as 10 year old laptops function the same as shiny new ones.
Also e-Waste. I have at least 3 usable old laptops lying around which I purchased over last decade and used for year but don't anymore. But everything on these are perfectly working. The keyboard gets worn, the screen scratched. That's all.

On Neural Network : How can we improve on back propagation?
- The system can forget the old and less accurate information improving its performance. Continuous learning. New info given more weight over the old ones, which currently works in reverse -- newer information is almost discarded.
- The weight of a neural connection is kept the same during both forward and back propagation. Tests show giving random weight during back propagation give better results.
- Group the neurons into many structures and train those parts individually.
Maybe this whole neural network concept has passed its days. And now its time to come up with new better concepts.

The standard practice for writing console apps now is Python instead of previous Perl. But python is so much unstable still. Like scripts for v3.5 won't run on v.3.9.

এই বিভক্তিগুলো হানাফি ছাড়া সালাফিদের মাঝে নেই। এখানে যেগুলো বুঝতে সমস্যা হতে পারে সেগুলো কেবল নিচে ব্যখ্যা করছি।
ওয়াজিব হলো ফরজের কাছাকাছি। না করলে বড় গুনাহ। যেমন বিতরের তিন রাকাত নামাজ।
সুন্নতে মুয়াক্কাদা হলো যে কাজগুলো না করলে গুনাহ।
সুন্নতে যায়েদা হলো যা করলে সোয়াব না করলে গুনাহ নেই।
যেমন জোহরের সুন্নত নামাজগুলো মুয়াক্কাদাহ। আসরের আগের ৪ রাকাত সুন্নাহ যায়েদাহ। যায়েদাহকে অনেকে গাইরে-মুয়াক্কাদাহ বলে।
মুস্তাহাব হলো সুন্নতে যায়েদাহর থেকে কম জরুরি। যেমন নফল নামাজ। করলে সোয়াব, না করলে গুনাহ নেই। রাসুলুল্লাহ ﷺ করতেন না।
মোবাহ মানে বাজার করা, স্কুলে যাওয়া যাতে সোয়াব গুনাহ কোনোটা নেই। সাধারন কাজ কর্ম।
মাকরুহ দুই রকম তাহরিমি আর তানজিহি। তাহরিমি করলে সগিরা গুনাহ। মানে ছোট গুনাহ। তানজিহি কাজগুলো না করলে সোয়াব, করলে গুনাহ নেই।
যেমন সুন্নতে মুয়াক্কাদা ছেড়ে দেয়া মাকরুহ তাহরিমি।

What's 18 * 25?
Rough ans is 20*25=500. Can we increase the accuracy?
Second method : round one of the numbers and check what percent of that number has been changed. And then increase or decrease the final result with that much percent.
So 18 rounded up to 20. Now 20*25=500 minus 10% = 450.
Real ans is : 450.
Why subtract 10%? Because when we round 18 up to 20 we basically increased it by 10%.
How do you know 500 less 10% = 450?
Subtracting 10% is easy. Shift the first digit right one step and subtract that number from the original. Thus 10% of 500 is 50.
Another one. What's 28*64?
Round 28 up to 30 that's about 5% increase. Multiply 30*64=1900.
Next less 5% from 1900. 1900-100=1800.
Real ans : 1792

কিছু কিছু জিনিস আছে #শাখেরকরাত এর মতো। যে দিকে যান মাইর খাবেন।
যেমন একটা উদাহরন :
বললেন : "আমাদের আলেমরা বলে <অমুক তমুক> আমি সেটা অনুসরন করি।"
বললে মাইর খাবেন এভাবে, "আলেমরা আবার দলিল হলো কবে থেকে? আমাদের দলিল হলো কোরআন হাদিস। ইহুদি নাসারারা তাদের কিতাব বাদ দিয়ে তাদের আলেমদের বানিয়েছিলো <ড্যাস ড্যাস>। তাই কোরআন হাদিস বাদ দিয়ে অন্ধভাবে আলেমদের অনুসরন করা কুফর।"
ঠিক আছে। এই সব লেকচার শুনে "ভালো" হয়ে গেলেন। নিজে নিজে কোরআন হাদিস পড়া আরম্ভ করলেন।
বললেন, "কোরআন শরিফের ঐ আয়াতে আছে এই। যা থেকে বুঝা যায় যে আমরা আসলে এটা ঠিক করছি না। করতে হবে ঐ।"
শাখের করাত। এদিকেও মাইর খাবেন। এভাবে।
"আপনি কি আরবি পারেন? তফসিরের উসুল কয়টা সেগুলো জানেন? সেগুলো না জেনে বাংলা অনুবাদ পড়ে <ড্যাস ড্যাস>। কেউ যদি নিজের থেকে বানিয়ে কোরআনের তফসির করে তবে সে সঠিক হলেও তার এমন গুনাহ যে <ড্যাস ড্যাস>।"

খবর : পটকা মাছ খেয়ে পরিবারের ২ জনের মৃত্যু।
৮০র দিকে এটা নিয়মিত খবর ছিলো পত্রিকায়। কখনো পরিবারের ৫ জন সবাই। পরের দিন ৪ জন। হয়তো অন্যদিন ১০ জনের মৃত্যু এরকম।
এর পরও বাজারে পটকা মাছ পাওয়া যেতো। ঢাকার বাজারেই যেখানে আমি প্রতিদিন বাজার করতে যেতাম।
এখন আর দেখা যায় না।
আরেকটা জিনিস আর নেই ৮০ পরে সেটা হলো "খেসারির ডাল"। অন্য ডালগুলো আছে। খেসারি বিষাক্ত। এক সপ্তাহের মাঝে কোনো এক বছর তুলে নেয়া হয়েছিলো। এর আগে বহু খেসারির ডাল কিনতাম নিজে বাজার থেকে।

Used OpenSCAD for designing this wood board small cabin home. Human like figure to scale. This is a parametric CAD. Meaning you need to write code to draw every thing on screen and place it in position. No GUI click and drag drawing.
The software is free. But felt some limitation. The foremost is about not being able to label and display the dimensions on screen.

News : Michael Jackson's "Neverland" property sold.
When I was young in the 80s, this one was the highest priced property in the world. A dreamland for the young. With a farris wheel, circular train and what not. Like Neverland in Peter Pan.
And then his scandals broke off. The property was so mercilessly searched by police in front of MJ's eyes that he never returned to his dreamed home after that incident. Rather lived elsewhere. And in the end it ended up on his debtors hand.
Asking price was $200m as had been valued in the 80s. Didn't sell. Finally sold for $20m after a decade. Where none of it will end up on his families hand.

We know for every degree the sun travels, it takes 4 mins on average. Therefore for the extra 0.4 longitude, rise and set will occur 4*0.4 = 1.5 mins earlier. Round it to minus 2 mins.
-2 mins with sun rise and set. -- (correction 1)
Next, correction for season. Figure out Sun's altitude. Today is Christmas day, Winter solstice. Sun and Southern peak. Therefore altitude is -23.5 degree.
Now for every degree we need to multiply by 1.8 for Dhaka. Why? Shall try to explain later. Therefore -23*1.8=-42 minutes.
Therefore
+42 mins for rise.
-42 mins for set. -- (correction 2)
Lastly, sun "rise" or "set" isn't counted when the center of the sun is on horizon, rather the sun has to set, the upper arc has to touch horizon. Add 3 mins for that which accounts for refraction too.
+3 mins for sunset.
-3 mins for sunrise. -- (correction 3)
And now add equation of time with that. We know from the poem I shared previously

Come Halloween, subtract sixteen.

Today is Christmas day. "You are OK". Meaning equation of time 0.
+0 mins with both set and rise -- (correction 4)
Adding the above 4 corrections we find.
Sun rise 6:00 am - 2 mins + 42 mins - 3 mins + 0 mins = 6:37 am.
Sun set 6:00 pm - 2 mins - 42 mins + 3 mins + 0 mins = 5:19 pm.
Exact time we find on calendar for rise is 6:38 am and set at 5:19 pm. Our calculation is right.

কয়কদিন আগে ইউটুবে গিয়ে দেখি আযহারি সাহেবের ফতোয়া। সমূদ্রের মাছ খাওয়া নিয়ে।
জানি এখানে হানাফি সালাফি ভাগ আছে। হানাফি মতে সমূদ্রের কেবল মাছ জায়েজ। সালাফি সবকিছু জায়েজ, সাপ কুমির এরকম কয়েকটা জিনিস ছাড়া।
তাই পুরোটা শুনার দরকার নেই। কেবল উনি কোন পক্ষে সেটা শুনলেই হবে। কিন্তু শুনলাম না কিছুই। ব্যস্ত মানুষ। স্কিপ করে গেলাম টাইটেল দেখেই।
আজকে দেখি বিশাল আর্টিক্যল "আবার বিতর্কিত ফতোয়া দিলেন আযহারি সাহেব" "উনাকে দাওয়াত করে এনে এখন সাপ ব্যঙ খাওয়ান।"
খবরের টাইটেল দেখেই বুঝেছি কি হয়েছে। যদিও উনার লেকচারও শুনি নি। বা খবরের রিপোর্টও পড়ি নি।
এখানে সমস্যা হলো উনি "এটা হানাফি মত না" এটা স্পষ্ট করে বলে দিলেই সমস্যা শেষ। উনি আযহার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে পাশ। উনার শিক্ষা মতো ফতোয়া দেবেন। আশ্চর্যের কিছু নেই।
কিন্তু "হানাফি"-"সালাফি" নামগুলোই যে জাতি এখন শুনতে পছন্দ করে না। "আমরা মুসলিম না? এটাই একমাত্র পরিচয়" তারা এর পর কি করবে?
"এটাই" একমাত্র ইসলামের নিয়ম। বা "ঐটাই" এক ইসলামের একমাত্র নিয়ম। এখন ফাইট করেন।

Without Calendar :
Day-of-week quick recall from memory. See this chart? All the dates in this calendar fall on the same day of week every year repeatedly. And for this year that day is Saturday. Every new year day-of-week skips forward by 1 day and thus for 2021 it will be Sunday, while the dates on the calendar keep exactly the same. For leap year, skip one day-of-week more as soon as the leap day passes but keep the dates as is always.
So this basically is the perpetual calendar, which once you memorize, you can work out day of week from date, or date from day of week for the rest of your life.

হানাফি সালাফি যে কোনো একটা অনুসরন করুন। এর পর তর্ক না করে স্থির থাকেন। অন্যটাকে ভুল না জেনে।
কোনটা করবেন সেটা নির্ভর করবে কোনটার একাধিক আলেমদের প্রতি আপনার এক্সেস আছে, আপনার এলাকায় কোনটা প্রচলিত, আর আপনি নিজে কোনটার নিয়ম কানুন ভালো জানেন বা জানতে চাইলে কোনটার অধিক বই মেটেরিয়েলস হাতের কাছে আছে -- এধরনের বিষয়গুলোর উপর।
একটা ঠিক করে স্থির হয়ে যাবার পরে কেউ যদি বুঝাতে আসে "এটা ঠিক না, ওটা ঠিক" তবে চুপ করে ইগনোর করে যান তর্ক না করে। তার কথা শুনলেও শুনবেন "এগুলো জানার জন্য জানা" অর্থে। "তাদের মতে এই, ওদের মতে সেই" একটা বিশাল লিষ্টে ফেলে দিয়ে। এগুলো জানা দ্বারা আপনার অবস্থান বদলাবে না।
জোর দেবেন নিজের আমল-ইখলাস-অন্তর-ব্যবহারের উপর। আপনার নিজের আমলের উপর শেষে আপনার হিসাব।

জীবনে বহু কাজ আছে।
- কেরিয়ার বিল্ড আপ করা।
এত কিছুর মাঝে যদি আপনি ফেসবুকে তর্ক করার মতো সময় পান তবে হয় আপনার জীবন এখনো আরম্ভ হয় নি, অল্প বয়সি এবং বাপের উপর খাচ্ছেন। কিংবা জীবনের অন্য দায়িত্বগুলো এড়াতে চাচ্ছেন ফেসবুকের কোনো একটা ড্রাগ খেয়ে এবং এই সময় অপচয়কে "দ্বিনের কাজ" নামে একটা ভালো লেবেল দিয়ে নিজেকে প্রবোধ দেবার জন্য।
প্রায়োরিটি চেক করি। দ্বিনের ব্যপারে তর্ক দ্বিনের কোনো অংশ না।

বাংলাদেশে ৬ মাস পর পর ফসল হয়। তাই ফসল উঠার পরে পরের ফসল পর্যন্ত ৬ মাসরের চাল মওজুদ রাখা যায়। আগে গ্রাম দেশে যা প্রচলিত ছিলো।
রাসুলুল্লাহ ﷺ উনার পরিবারকে ১ বছরের খাবার একবারে পাঠিয়ে দিতেন। তাই এতে তাওয়াক্কুলের সমস্যা দেখি না।
শহরে থেকে আগে ১ সপ্তাহের চাল করে কিনতাম। অভ্যাস বদলানোর চেষ্টা করছি।

"হানাফিদের পক্ষে" টাইটেলে, হানাফি হয়ে যারা কনফিউশনে আছেন তাদের জন্য একটা সিরিজ লিখবো ইনশাল্লাহ।
এটা কেবল মাত্র হানাফিদের জন্য। অন্যদের কথা রদ করার মতো কথা যদি থাকে তবে এটা থাকবে কেবল মাত্র হানাফিদের পক্ষে ডিফেন্স দেখাতে। অন্যদের ভুল ধরতে না, বা অন্যদেরকে ভুল বলার জন্য না।
নন-হানাফিরা এটা স্কিপ করে গেলে ভালো। লক্ষ ভুল পাবেন। কিন্তু ভুল গুলো আপনার বিচারে। আমার বিচারে এগুলো ঠিক। তাই কমেন্টে কিছু বলার দরকার নেই।

বক্তব্য, "এই সব অশিক্ষিত অর্ধশিক্ষিত মোল্লা মুন্সিরা পান খায় পিক ফেলে ভালো মতো বাংলাও বলতে পারে না। আমি যদি হানাফি অনুসরন করি তবে তাদের অনুসরন করতে হবে। আমার কালচারের সাথে এগুলো মিলে না। তাই অনুসরন করতে পারছি না।"
সে ক্ষেত্রে আপনি হানাফিদের মাসলার বই যেমন বেহেস্তি জেওর, ফতোয়ায়ে আলমগিরি, হেদায়া এগুলো পড়ে নিজে জেনে নিয়ে অনুসরন করতে পারে। হুজুরদের কাছে যাবার দরকার নেই। দূর থেকে শুনবেন, মাঝে মাঝে মিলিয়ে নেবেন। তাতেই হবে।
উপরেরটা মূল কথা। এর পর নিজের দেখা কিছু কথা নিচে।

এগুলো সব নিভে গিয়েছে। এখন নেই। কিন্তু তাদের পরিনতি থেকে শিক্ষাটা রয়ে গিয়েছে। এই সব স্বল্প শিক্ষিত গোষ্ঠি থেকে পালানরো জন্য আপনি যে দিকে যাবেন তারা কিছুদিন পরে নাই হয়ে যাবে। আপনি শেষে গিয়ে দেখবেন তারা আসলে ভুল। যেখানে হানাফিরা আছে গত হাজার বছর ধরে।

কাদিয়ানি একটা উদাহরন দিলাম। আরো আছে। আমি জানি কি করে? কারন তাদের বই আমি ছোট বেলায় পড়েছি। ৪০-৭০ দশকের ছাপা বই ৮০র দিক পর্যন্তও ছিলো। এগুলো আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা কিনে রেখে গিয়েছিলো। যেটা আমার হাতে পড়েছিলো।
যদি বলেন এখন এরকম নেই। তবে আমি বলবো আছে। যেমন কোরআনিয়ান। বা সমগোত্রিয়।

বলছিলাম ফারাজি সাহেবের ভাবনার সাথে আমার অনেক কিছু মিল খায়। এখানে আরেকটা।
উথমান রাঃ ইফেক্ট। যেটা ভয় করছিলাম। তাই হচ্ছে, আশংকা। "যদি উথমান রাঃ এর মৃত্যুতে উম্মাহর ভালো থাকতো তবে পরবর্তিতে উম্মাহ দুধ পান করতো, কিন্তু পান করেছে রক্ত।"

News : 1 in 1000 dead in USA in Covid.
But this doesn't bother me too much. With a mortality rate of 1%, which is very much normal, people will see 1 dead for every 100 person by the end of the year even in normal circumstances.
A better stat will be "in normal circumstances X person dies every year in USA, but X*Y person died this year due to pandemic." Or something in that line.

US congressman elect, aged 41, dies today in Covid. Search "Luke Letlow".
Now US has about 500 congressmen. With 1 in 1000 from the general population dead, this one death is not unexpected statistically but very concerning when you look at his age.
That speaks a lot on the intensity of the attack.

Random act of kindness.
Kid cycles on a man's driveway everyday, his camera caught it.
He drew a racing track for the unknown kid to follow. Indeed the kid followed it. Everyday after rain he redrew it, better. And the kid happily cycled along.
Man says that was the best thing he has done in this summer. Still wants to keep anonymous.

On vaccines not ending lockdowns any time soon :
A few development on the Covid front line as per WHO. Ain't providing links. Read all these over the weeks.
The vaccine won't stop people catching the virus themselves and then passing it on to others, thus spreading the disease further. It just prevents the vaccinated against growing symptoms.
And therefore the social distance measurements, masks and lockdown won't go away even when a percent of the population is vaccinated.
It will take upto the end of 2021 to see a change in infection in developed countries when a large portion of the population is vaccinated. Implying this lockdown like state will continue the whole of the next year.
And on a lesser tone someone else said, most likely the lockdown will continue for the next decade.
Enough of doom scrolling for 1 day.

Non-hate mongering Muslim scholars :
- They mark the wrongs as wrong.
The opposite act is to :
- Highlight the wrongs of anyone you disagree with.
The positive vibe in scholars is rare. And varies in amount from person to person.
So watch who you are identifying with. And who you follow.
Q. "What's wrong with hating? Aren't we encouraged to hate the enemies?"
That's an interpretation cherry picked and taught by some hate monger groups. You can follow that path as hating everyone is easier than not hating. But that ultimately will lead to your downfall and your group's downfall. Hate mongers neither win wars, nor people. Ultimately they end up marking everyone as their enemy.
There's a large road outside your view. Fully supported by Islamic teachings and scholar's interpretation. But to see that you need to come out of the slump you are now stuck in.
The first step will be to dismiss the hate monger scholars you follow. They can't change. But you can. It's your life, you have to be personally responsible for answering to God for your deeds.

Wired covers Cyberpunk. The game is ok, but it was the built up hype for years that killed it. Boosting up people's expectations to sky high to later fall down to earth once released.
I was thinking of No Man's Sky, while watching it. Article compares it with that too.
Too large a promise over current market norm? They won't be able to deliver it regardless of how much demo they show proving they can.

Hamza Yousuf's take on scholars attacking other scholars.
What's worse these days is that, it's ignorants attacking scholars.
So don't. Take from the good of scholars you like and ignore the others if you believe they are wrong. But don't attack because in your view they are wrong.
Simple rule, but surprisingly some people find it hard to follow. The attack culture now has been established so strongly from grass root that people believe it's their religious duty to attack. And they are a sinner if they don't.
Save yourself, even if you can't change the tide.

Without calculator :
Sun Rise : 6:00 am - 3 mins + longitude - latitude + equation of time.
Sun Set : 6:00 pm + 3 mins + longitude + latitude + equation of time.
The following table shows latitude correction for 23.75, which basically the level of Dhaka. The numbers represent minutes to correct on 1st of that month. You need to interpolate for the rest.
So rise/set for tomorrow 31st Dec.
We can find equation of time is 2 mins. How? Shall explain later insahAllah. And longitude correction for Dhaka is -2 mins round the year.
Set the values.
Sun Rise : 6:00 -3 -2 +40 +2 = 6:37, which actually is 6:42.
Sun Set : 600 +3 -2 -40 +2 = 5:23, which actually is 5:22

OpenGL vs DirectX was an old debate from our age. Today tried to check where it stands. Only to figure out there's a 3rd contender now -- Vulkan. Just a direct competitor to OpenGL on the same level.
Also there seems to be WebGL. But guess that's a browser wrapper over OpenGL or DirectX.

And I, Wao! They were alive? Gilligan's island was from before our generation from the 60s. And we watched the series as B&W re-run in the 70s.
I can't recall anything older than that. Maybe Addam's Family.
The hit show from our time was Little House On The Prairie. And that's still ages and ages back.

এটাই দরকার। হেসেল নেই। টিকবে কম দিন। কিন্তু বাড়ি যত দিন টিকে তার আগেই মানুষ ভেঙ্গে ফেলে নতুন বাড়ি তৈরি করে। ইতিহাস সাক্ষি। কয়টা দালান বাড়ি পুরানো হয়ে যেতে দেখেছেন? তার আগেই মালিক ভেঙ্গে আরো বড় বাড়ি তৈরি করে। যদিও প্রথম বাড়ি তৈরি সময় বলছিলো "এটা ১০০ বছরের জন্য, আমার নাতিও ব্যবহার করতে পারবে।"
