HD size matters. The previous trend was that speed mattered more. Which is why people were ditching 1TB mechanical hard disks for 128 GB SSD. The Mac way.
But that restricted a lot of what I was able to install and do. And disk was constantly filling up. Install "R"? Can't. No space. A CAD software? Can't either. And thousands such.
The second thing : Having a micro SD slot helps a LOT for backing up. Stick in a 256 GB microSD and take regular automatic backup of your workspace using a scheduler. As over the air ones will clog your bandwidth.
