On future road of Deubondi schools in BD :

Here's my take on the current situation and a forecast on the possible paths that it might lead to.

Now note that winning or losing is related to whether a team was right or wrong -- that's my simplified take.

Sins of Dewbondis :

  • First and foremost the abusive culture in Madrasas and them tolerating and promoting those abuses for decades. And pro-actively hiding the ugly "sin", which I can't name, and they hide it to protect their goodwill.

  • Their leaders are actively seeker of leadership, leading to collision for leadership, which is strongly forbidden in Islam and God dislikes.

  • The events that lead to the fall of last leader and rise of the current leaders two months back. Nothing has happened till now, but the events remain as a time bomb, a black spot waiting to explode when its time.

    And now the positives :

    + Majority of them being on the right path for so many decades.
    + And who else are here to guide the Muslims on the right path?

    Right now they have lost the battle. And situation has shifted back to year 13's. All gains made by Mufti Shofi being lost in a week.

    Now :

  • This might stay as such.
  • Worsen over time.
  • Get better unexpectedly.

    Which path might it take -- I have no idea. But whether it turns towards good or for bad will be indicative of a lot of things in the past. A past where we are still confused on which side was right. And indicative also about the future -- the coming days.

    Pray alone. And disengage from all activities at the moment. That will be my advice.

    But regardless, keep watching.
