Whole of "The 8-rules" [usul hastagana] sounded like it was designed to keep the worldly benefits off the religious scholars. So that they don't get sunk up in the evil that accompany wealth.
Until we are passing the era when all these walls have fallen down. And we are doing it in the name of "8-rules".
None of these were like this just even 5 years back. And yes, things change, for the better or for worse.
And time should say, which field we end up on.
Reminder : The teaching will get carried on. From generation to generation. By someone. If not by them, then by someone else. Humans will get lost, generations will, races will.
But the teaching won't. That's what history tells us. Look at the Tatars.
