737 MAX :

NYT Article which says while other modern planes display the problem on screen if one arise, 737 MAX required the pilots to go through printed books manuals, with no visual feed back.

The reason Boeing decided NOT to add it was intentional. That would have required pilots to take extra training on the display which Boeing wanted to avoid.

Plus this one, even though is touted as "Most Modern Airplane" isn't a fly-by-wire plane. Rather the controls are connected to the plane mechanically like how it was done 60 years back.
