"Why don't you answer questions?"
First of : most of the people that ask a question, ask it to introduce a debate. Not that they don't know it, and want an answer.
In other cases I feel that the questioner doesn't have the background knowledge to gasp the answer posted. And therefore there will be a lot of followup questions as soon as I answer, which would like to avoid.
And in third type of cases, there aren't any fixed answer. Or basically I just don't know. Which is the case for most of the "what's the ruling of this..." kind of questions.
