On Philippines president's name calling Obama, and its crime fighting crisis:
I have a fear that Philippines might be joining the failed state list in a few years, if this goes on.
Have a problem with the justice system? Go fix it. Go for lawyer less courts or anything with less bureaucracy and red tapes.
But don't short cut the justice system and turn police into a triple role player judge, jury and executioner as in Dredd. That's calling for dystopia.
Worst: Call in vigilantes believing "the system doesn't work" -- and you won't have an active state left, after a while.
