NYT OpEd finds some similarities between ancient Rome and this pandemic.

The very first pandemic in human history started in Rome when its emperor was "un-conventional" loved to watch gladiator wars sitting in the stadium himself.

And when plague hit, killing 2000 roman warriors daily, the senators blamed the emperor himself as the largest "curse" that should be eliminated. And finally killed him in his bathtub by suffocating him sending a wrestler.

The similarity? NYT says : Imagine what the emperor would have done if he had Twitter then. 😛 Guess you get it.
