So the blockchain buzz is over. That wasn't a solution to any problem outside of anonymous non-government cryptocurrencies. Next, even if India-China-Russia or other state gov issue a cryptocurrency -- it won't be blockchain based. Rather simple central database will work far better.
In contrast data engineering and data scientist demands are increasing fast.
The key to understanding which buzz will survive is to watch if something is a complex solution to an easy problem. If that is, then it won't, regardless of how much hype that creates.
