Generally I forget the turns for matching the Rubik's cube if I leave it alone for a few months.

But using now "no-algorithm intuitive matching". Nothing to memorize. Tried it after 4 months and can match it again.

Search "Heise method".

Match 2 blocks

Extend it to 4.

Then to 8.
This should take 8 turns on average.

Then 4 more blocks.

Then again 4 more.

Then 5 edges.

Last match the remaining 5 corners using commutator.

You need to learn corner commutator rules initially. The rest are intuitive.
