Just in time when I *have* to go for a new laptop, Apple a few hours ago introduces "M1" -- the system on chip SoC integrating an ARM processor, RAM, Graphics card and a neural engine for ML inside a single chip.
First computer to come out with it is Macbook air, priced at $1000, next week.
