"Harry Potter" Book 1
The only "book for the new gen" that I read. And possibly the last novel that I read from cover to cover, before giving up on reading altogether. Read only the first book "The Sorcerer's Stone". Though there were 6 more later. Found it readable, but not "immersive", which I used to find every book when I was young.
Right now, for any book that I find interesting, I jump to its Wikipedia page and read the "Plot" section which summarizes the story with full spoilers and get done with it in 2 mins.
Anyway interesting for a generation and age -- which we have left behind.
