TIL : In the US, one can get a Computer Science degree in 4 years.
Then enter medical school for another 4 years.
And then "residency" which is actually practicing for 5 years, to get MD. Doctor of Medicine.
Note that Medical training doesn't start when you enter University, Rather you have to get a 4 year graduation degree in *any* science subject first. Then finish the 4 year medical course.
The whole task of getting a MD license will take 13 years. You can't cut that down by not getting a CS degree, or some other degree first.
For admission in Medicine after graduation you need to sit for MCAT exam.
