Gaming consoles, and new consoles are out this Nov.

Microsoft's XBox series X: $500.
Sony's PS 5 : $500.

That's the standard price. Both have two cheaper versions.

XBox series S : $300. Doesn't have the blue ray drive. Processing power is also cut down.

PS5 digital edition : $400. Exactly same as the pricey version, minus the blue ray drive.

You don't need the blue ray drive if you always download games from the net. All versions have large harddisk for storage. Blue ray was for buying games from the market in CD/DVD/BlueRay, old styled and then playing.

Now a days even if you buy a game from the market, you still have to download it over the net a second time to install its updates, download size of which is comparable with the original.

The only console I bought was Nintendo Wii.
