TIL : Christoper Nolan figured out it's cheaper to blow up a real 747 for his latest movie Tenet, than to hire programmers to do it virtually.

He even ran the numbers and figured out building miniature models and then blowing those up, like how it was done in pre-CGI days, will still be more expensive than destroying the real plane.

And I was watching the trailer on youtube the other day and saying "Wao! CGI has gotten so real life!" not realizing it was the real thing :V
