"Dune". Science fiction series. Tried to read it at one time but couldn't get passed the first two pages. The names were too cryptic, too long and hard to pronounce even inside your head.
Compare it with Foundation series. No hard name to memorize. "The emperor" "2nd foundation" even the villain was called just "the Mule", that's all.
Recently tried to go through Dune's story line from youtube book recap short videos, still found the names too hard.
But it's a popular series nevertheless.
Exposure : "Dune 2" was the first strategy game that I played through to end in the early 90s.
Currently watching Dune getting a resurrection, due to film adaptation.
