This was simulated dogfight. Not with real planes on the sky.
Dogfights are so 80s. But still no surprise there. Even best gamers get beaten by AI in games. Maybe AI cheats in game. But whatever.
And talking about fighters, UAE should be getting US F-35s now that they have come with peace with Israel. Which probably motivated MbZ to sign up that agreement in the first place.
BUT -- the shock! He now is alone on that side. None of the other states are joining the club, which MbZ probably didn't expect.
Saudi has declined, other allies separating themselves "we ain't with it." They probably were on the fence at first, then backed off watching public reaction after it.
But one state at a time. It was Egypt in the 60s. Jordan in the 90s during Bill Clinton-Arafat era. And now UAE in the bag.
