A - level preparation.
1
You need to study at least 2 subjects. Students generally take 3 or 4 but their best 2 are counted toward versity admission. Recommend taking 3.
2
Unlike HSC, you need to sit for exams in both the years. The first year is called AS, and the second year's exam A2. Adding both up makes A level result.
3
Feeling super human? Can sit for both AS and A2 in 1year. But that's not recommended. Take your time.
4
I don't see any point in getting admitted in a collage now. Classes are on hold and no indication when those might resume.
6
You basically have 6 months for preparation and 80% of that time will have passed even if schools open by next Jan.
7
Practical exams are important. You need to practice those. And practical guide books are available in the market. Coaching centers come helpful.
8
As for textbooks everyone buys and reads the board sanctioned ones unlike in O level which didn't have official books, only the syllabus.
9
If you miss a subject and get admitted in university which requires it, as like didn't take Biology but your major requires it for example, then you can sit for Biology exam *while* you are still studying in University. So don't worry too much. It's not the end of your career.
