I had been watching Beirut burning, exploding, killing since when I started watching TV. Used to ask father, "What's happening?" He used to reply "They are at war." Then "Which country is fighting against Lebanon?" He used to reply, "You won't understand until you grow up. It's them fighting themselves."
That didn't really made any sense then. And then it raged on and on and on. All other news changed. But this news was common for decades to come.
