Short rail line segment joining Malibag and Mogbazar. About 3 min walk. I had to walk this section for about 6 years as long as our office was in that place. Large shanty on side. The signature memorable thing was that these poor people used to play gamble on large boards on the rail line side.
This was a gambling magnet and watched young outsiders lose so much here hoping to double their money.
The line here was at first a meter gauge. Then it was rebuilt as dual broad gauge-meter gauge as you can see now.
Walking on rail line isn't new for me. I used to walk along the lines near Kamalapur central station for as long as I studied in school to reach there. But that side was better maintained than this one though.
