"A brief history of Time"

Well, there wasn't anyone that I knew of that didn't read it. Therefore I did the same :-) . The new thing that I learnt from it was the paradox of entropy. What if you take some entropy and drop it into a blackhole. Would the Universe end up having less entropy? That goes against 2nd law of thermodynamics.

Hawking solved it through black hole radiation. Which was his main discovery in his life time, and therefore the radiation was named Hawking Radiation. And this explanation was new which I learnt of first from that book. The rest were mostly he summarizing older discoveries in his words.

Interestingly black holes, even though were theoretically proven weren't really observed until around year 2000. And now we have teams taking photos of the largest blackholes in the Universe.

Time flies. That the brief history.
