How I solve the cube now.
1. Build white side's 4 edges, the cross. Can be done in 8 moves or less.
2. Shift each white corner to top layer and also its corresponding edge from 2nd layer. Pair those up on the top and slide in corner. Thus completing both the corner and 2nd layer in a single go. Place 3 corners like this and leave the 4th, this will be the keyhole.
4. Orient the edges on the yellow side so that the yellow color of 3 edges are on top, and the 4th edge is in the keyhole.
5. Now match the 4th corner on top and slide it in. But make sure whenever you turn the side where the keyhole is, you turn it such that the yellow side of the edge there goes upwards after turning it. If you do it correctly you will find all 4 edges on top have already created the wanted cross.
6. Place the edges. Turn so that only the front piece of the edges is in it's proper place and the other 3 aren't. Now turn R T R' T R T2 R'. You can figure this move intuitively.
7. Edges done. Now the last 4 corner. Use commutators for it. 8 turns per commutators. You might need to apply at best 3 times.
