In other news US airforce gets its new pistol. The M18 handgun. That's no news, but news is that it's built of plastic instead of metal. That's surprising.
Remembering, when 3D printing came out, everyone was scared that it would be used to print handguns. It was. And none worked. The chamber exploded on the first gun fire, sometimes killing the firing man.
Alternate designs came up with metal chamber and plastic body. But that's not fully 3D printable for the metal.
Anyway, the new handgun has 21 round clips. And is 9mm.
