While sitting at home waiting for my death [ worry not, we all shall die at one time ] I was spoiling my time with the cube. Relearning the solving method intuitively without any algorithom.
The basic and fist step was "8355" method. Once that became boring it's time to *improve* on it. Therefore learned the following linked intuitive method, which is more compact than 8355.

Learning that required two things to be learned. Commutators. And now F2L.
F2L means first two layers. You build the cross and then slide in pairs of two blocks in the corners to solve the first two layers in a single go.
It's done. I can do that now :-)
