Nothing actually opened either in BD or in India. Indian media is calling it "unlock 1" after calling the last one "lockdown v.4".
But the truth is curfew hasn't gone away. Intercity communications haven't revived. Delhi has been newly "locked down" to prevent in and out movement.
Only thing that's declared is that Mosques will open from 8th. That has to do more with Mamata-ji's preemptive declaration and Modi-ji not wanting to confront her.
And as of BD, there's a limit of 25% attendance in gov offices, and its more like whoever wishes can attend. Actual attendance is far less. And as the chain is broken, hardly anything is working.
Waiting for a month more. Shall check again on July-1st whether the lockdown is truly over in any meaningful way.
