US casualty approaching 100k and NYT published today differently with no news on frontpage, other than the names of 1000 of the fallen.
Now how does 100k compare with previous year casualties?
Last year 80k died from flu. And in average year the casualty is 60k. It still looks like a bad flu year.
But the death row isn't over yet. It might reach 200k or 250k by the end of the year when it surely will look pandemic.
