|| Masks help, hand wash not that much

Looks like US CDC was wrong on masks. Rather China were right. This virus doesn't spread so much from touch transmission as much as it transmits through air droplets and breath. That's unlike MERS and SARS which were touch transmitted only.

Your hand washing won't help you much. Majority of the people are getting it through air transmission.

|| You can reuse masks

The first instinct might be to microwave it. Wrong. Rather keep the old mask laying for a day. All virus on it will be dead. Wear a second mask. And the next day wear the old and let the other dry now.

|| Exposure matters

A little exposure will help your immunity cope with it better, rather than a large exposure at a time. Therefore a mask helps.

|| "As a Muslim I rely on Allah and never wear masks!"

Well then wear the niqab if you are girl. And wear the head and face covering Palestinian "keffiyeh" if you are a man. Will filter air particles and water droplets. Any reduction to open air exposure is good.

|| Where can I find a kiffiyah now?

Buy a meter of cloth or two, and fold it. That's your kifayah.
