Black death, the plague in the middle age struck Iran the worst. Stories, a city in Iran got completely de-populated. Every person died, but the last one. The last man who survived was in charge for washing the dead bodies and their funeral and bury.

Well right now Iran is worst hit too.

And in Europe, Italy was worst hit by it. Florence in Italy saw 90% of its population die. Right now Italy is also the epicenter in Europe too.

Also black death originated from Far East. On the silk road. Similar to what we see now. Coincidentally the silk road has been reinstated in recent years. From China.
