Two news in aerospace :
Airbus has designed and already flight tested a futuristic looking blend wing airplane. Though it looks pretty, my first question was, will it save fuel or increase consumption?
Ans : Airbus reports it saves fuel by 20%.
In second news : Boeing passed the month of January with absolutely zero new orders. First in 60 years. But the good news is that they are now test flying MAXes, and hoping to return to sky quickly. Though there's still skepticism : can they ever.
Overall air travel has fallen *sharply*. And possibly will fall more in the coming days.
