Anyone can land a plane. At least that's what I believe after playing flight simulators :-) . But what mere mortals like us can't do is land a plane in crosswind. It's like floating the plane sideways facing the wrong direction and landing it. And as soon as it touches the runway, turn the face instantly forward. Though there is no mechanism in a plane to do so.
More like drifting on a car. Driving while moving on the impossible side.
