Things that should or shouldn't concern me :
Tech : Concerns me as I get a living off tech.
Science : Not much.
Politics : Total and complete waste of time.
Economics : Small part which only directly affects my work.
Religion : Only that part that I perform everyday.

Note that everything has an indirect relationship. And that way one can claim "everyone needs to learn Oceanography as it's related with environment which is related with life." <-- sign of missing the point. We are not talking about this.
