The new shakeup is an explosive article by Nehal vai. I don't follow him on fb. He recently gave an interview to AFP and his story is making the rounds on all international news papers. I can't link any of those here. Keyword for the interested should be "Hojaifa al Mamduh".
Add with it today's news of three kids dead in the room of a Imam while he was leading Jumma. The imam most likely wasn't involved as one of the dead was his son. But these are dark shadows on an already vulnerable situation.

When most of all other groups and movements are in decline, the Qawmi/Deobandi madrasa has survived a lot of hits and still up.
I believed it was already dead after "5th May". It survived.
Believed it will now be split into fractions after government recognition of its certificate. It still survived that change.
Assumed this opposition from Tablig will be the last nail. As probably 80% of its students family are related with Tablig. And not a dent was created due to it.
