Visited Kakrail mosque first today after what? maybe 15 years? Not much change. The main body is still the same. The sides have been demolished for extension. Though more likely all work are on hold now.
Crowd wasn't as much as I used to see on a Thursday night. Half the mosque was full during Magrib prayers even on the mid floor where the Imam stands. Upto the two small stairs on left and right. While in the 90s when I was a regular, it was always full to brim.
Maybe it's the decentralization of the work. Maybe it's due to the division within.
Time flies. Bricks and mortars don't hold any special meaning. Only our deeds remain for ever. The bricks? Those are witnesses of our deeds.
Ending with a positive story from one of our brothers. Link in comment.
