As for fasting on the day of Arafah. The big question is always : should we be fasting today when it's the day of Arafah in... well in Arafah, or should we be fasting tomorrow when it's the date of Arafah as per our sighting of the moon?

The answer :

Hanafi/Dewbondi : Fast tomorrow, when it's Arafah as per our sighting. Check Lutfur Farazi's fatwa on his site, or any other. I have already seen 3-4 writing with the same conclusion on this topic in FB yesterday.

Salafi/Saudi : Also fast tomorrow. Check fatwa in islamqa.info

Only exception right now seems Ahle Hadith community's view in our country. Most of their opinion is on fasting as per Mecca's date. Possibly Matiur Rahman Madani said it in one of his video, as someone stated it. I haven't checked personally.

As usual, I am intentionally avoiding all argument on each side supporting their own view. Rather just stating their final conclusion.

    Comments:
  • কোন প্রথম লাইন?
  • Yeah, right. Translation is correct. It says during the period of Mecca only Fajar and Magrib prayers were ordered.
