Too large cattle aren't worth it. News media right now is full of news of large cattle which are priced exorbitantly. Most of these aren't getting sold, and kept up for "next year" until those get too old. And finally when they get sold, they are sold at far less than what was offered for it previously.
This is a loss incurring business.
