Because as per gov calculation total death from Dengue is currently at 14, where I am reading of 4 to 5 deaths everyday in newspapers, I was looking for other ways to guess about mortality.
Philippines recently was stuck by the same variant. They don't have an unpopular gov which might want to subside counts. Checked their mortality rate : 0.5%, that is 5 person for each 1000 infected. In BD 1600 are getting admitted into hospital daily. Multiply and got a number. Multiply that over for how many days it's running and got a total number for 1 month. And this doesn't include people that aren't getting admitted into hospitals, dying, and their death being attributed to other causes. Link to one such news in comment.
Well I can't publish my numbers here, as gov is very strict on publishing anything on mortality from Dengue. Don't say, don't speak, keep quite.
