India has launched its "চন্দ্রযান" rocket to the moon. Launch was successful an hour ago.
It first will orbit earth for 3 weeks. Then start for the moon, which will take another week. After reaching moon, orbit it for 2 more weeks, and then land it's moon rover on its surface on Sep 6. Mark that date as we shall know the success of this mission after that.
Previously Israel fired a rocket onto the moon with thousands of books micro printed for preservation on its surface. That mission failed spectacularly as it failed to make a soft landing and crashed on site.
