BD tax department calls for Google, FB, twitter, youtube, yahoo and every foreign tech company to pay taxes.
It would be interesting to watch where that ends up.
Previously it called for Indian channels to cut off BD ads. That didn't end well as the channels rather opted to cut off BD transmission instead. And after 20 days of no indian channels, BD gov finally bent : even if we did say it, we didn't mean to say it.
Ever thought why Uber in BD operates from India? And why your support calls are transferred there? Cause its the only way it can operate here. Sending 30% of the revenue to India is comparatively profitable to do business here, compared to other options.
