Airbus Orders : 130 planes
Boeing : 0
Previous interesting news was that Boeing's manufacturing unit can chuck out about 2 planes a day. And even after 737 MAX was grounded it produced about 150 planes in three months. All are sitting idle, though. Guess Airbus can now use Boeing's production facilities :-)
This week Germany didn't allow a MAX to fly over its airspace, even though it was for repositioning an empty plane.
It's the brand value that matters. They could have avoided it by swallowing this cost after Indonesia crash and not waiting for the second crash, before investigating and confirming the problem.
