WW II military casualties :
On the Eastern front Russia lost 10 million and Germany 5 million.
On the Western front US & UK both lost 400 K each and Germany 800 K.
Two Russian gave their live to kill each German.
While in Europe it was mostly equal.
Germany lost mostly because it had to divide its force between two fronts after D-Day. And Hitler committed suicide 10 months after that. War lost before the end of the year.
