The Iran issue has subsided. And expecting things to keep calm until after next US election.
Saudi seems to be building up a coalition with Muslim states for a possible war, and has called for a summit in Mecca next week. But partners seem reluctant. And there is the Qatar issue. Saudi wants a coalition but not with Qatar.
And talking about Qatar, Salman-Al-Ouda, the Saudi dissident who was arrested for showing a little bit to sympathy with Qatar in a tweet, is scheduled to be executed just after Ramadan. Probably not only for that tweet, but the tweet was the last straw.
Anyway not expecting any new war in Gulf for at least two years.
