There goes a prophetic saying that says God changes the society and order every 20 years.
Interestingly I have seen two major shifts, 1979 when everything in the Islamic world suddenly broke down on every side of the world and everyone seemed to have got engaged in a war.
And the other one is 2001, when the world wasn't like how it was before 9/11.
Extrapolating, we can say that society is likely to pass through another rapid change recently that we might notice within a few years.
But don't try to match the formula with older generations, as you can most definitely match anything with anything if you are curious enough. But living through the time and watching it yourself, does make a difference.
