USA offering India 110 fighters for $15B. It's $140m/fighter. And production cost of these fighters are $14m a piece, one tenth of the sales price.
And I thought only middle-eastern "kings" were getting ripped off from arms deal.
This is why arms trade is so profitable globally. You sell a piece at 10 times its production cost. Otherwise why would you be selling your arms to your enemies?
If there's someone to pity, its the countries that didn't invest on science or tech. And now are spending exorbitant amount of money to buy weapons.
