Traveled outdoors in the scorching heat first time today in this Ramadan.

Reminds me of my school days when I used to do the same. Interestingly the harsh days are what you continue to remember over life. The sweet breezes are forgotten quickly. And over time it's the hard days that turn into sweet memories.

Relevant :

Sahabas that used to say : one of the things that they loved most in life is fasting in the scorching desert heat in summer.

Muslims that would have wished to have gone through more calamity in life on earth, when they would be shown the reward in afterlife.

That being said, the rule is : don't pray for hardship. Pray for easiness. As the Almighty has more power to give everyone everything everywhere if He wishes so.
