What happened to all those new cities in KSA that we heard of long since?

Well only one of the six has launched off. But not attracting investors. And yes women need not wear hijab in there. Actually women need not wear hijab in mainland KSA too. The sharia police is still there, but their authority is limited to only giving advice, not arresting anyone. It's now optional in the whole KSA whether a woman wears hijab or not.

By the way, me thinks Saudi government would have gotten a better result had they gone for a IT city instead of manufacturing. Who cares about manufacturing now a days?

    Comments:
  • ^ not illegal now, as had been before. But can't be widely seen in the community as women voluntarily wear the hijab.
