The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘When it is the night of the middle of Sha’ban, spend its night in prayer and observe a fast on that day.
For Allah descends at sunset on that night to the lowest heaven and says:
‘Is there no one who will ask Me for forgiveness, that I may forgive him?
Is there no one who will ask Me for provision, that I may provide for him?
Is there no one who is afflicted by trouble, that I may relieve him?'
And so on, until dawn comes.

- Fabricated as per Darussalam. Others might disagree. And I am pretty sure Ibn Majah didn't consider it fabricated, as he would not have then added it in his book.
- Well, because I or you can't classify hadith on our own, we need to depend on someone.
Who we trust most on these matters, is the big difference.
But by the end of it, it's purely whom you trust vs whom I trust.
- Abu Abdullah Ibn Majah himself is my source. And he didn't classify it as fabricated.

- হাদিসটা সহি না। জয়িফ। এবং ইবনে মাজায় জয়িফ হাদিস আছে। এতে আমাদের মাঝে দ্বিমত নেই।
আমাদের মাঝে দ্বিমত হলো "এই হাদিসটা জাল, তাই এটা কোথাও প্রচার করা যাবে না" এই বক্তব্যের উপর।
ইবনে মাজার নির্দিস্ট কোনো হাদিস প্রচার করা যাবে না, আমি এই ব্যপারে একমত নই।
- সন্দেহের ব্যপারে আমি বরং সমসাময়িক আলেমদের থেকে প্রথম যুগের আলেমদের উপর বেশি নির্ভর করবো। এটা নিরাপদ।
- খুজে দেখলাম এখন। অরিজিনাল আরবীতে ইবনে মাজাহ হাদিসটা মারফু হিসাবে বর্ননা করেছেন। এর বাইরে আর কিছু নেই। তাই কিছু বদলালো না। :-D
